Sol Ipanema Hotel

Pessoal muito simpático, localização excelente, e o restaurante é um dos melhores da redondeza. Garcon Ribeiro é simpático e eficiente. Na recepção Felipe e Marcelo também foram ótimos. Nao há garagem, mas pôde-se deixar o carro na frente do hotel. Vale o preço. Experimente o polvo, no restaurante. Nota 10.

Palavras não conseguem expressar o quanto sou grato a todos que trabalham no Sol Ipanema Hotel. Planejei passar um tempo no Rio com meus familiares sem grandes expectativas e tivemos a agradável surpresa de um hotel e equipe maravilhosos à nossa disposição.
O quarto com vista para a praia é simplesmente fascinante. O restaurante é incrível. Eles também têm um Bar Pool na cobertura onde conhecemos o bartender chamado Antonio Sobrinho e ele foi espetacular. Sou brasileira e ele me preparou a melhor caipirinha de toda a minha vida além de todo o carinho maravilhoso com cada cliente.
É definitivamente meu hotel número 1 no Rio de agora em diante. Tive uma experiência 5 estrelas em literalmente tudo.

Quero aqui presta minha satisfação ao hotel sol Ipanema, lugar bem acolhedor, ambiente muito agradável, desde do momento que entrei até a saída fui bem atendido estão de parabéns toda equipe interna, nas próxima férias com certeza seria hospedei. Super recomendo.

Location. Location. Trendy Ipanema beach just over the road. Station 9. Hang there z bit. The bar "Girl from Ipanema" is just around the corner. Good proximity from tourist attractions. Hop in a taxi and off you go. Rooftop bar and pool with amazing views. Breakfast was good.

Location location location. Combined with a really good kitchen (really above average for hotel restaurants!), Good breakfast with many options, and friendly polite staff. The rooms are large and clean, with comfy beds!

100% satisfied with everything about this hotel. If we go back to Rio, this is where we will stay. Easy check in and front desk was always helpful if we had questions. We landed at 9am, and were lucky that our room was available. Room was really nice and bed was very comfortable. Great shower with a rain shower head and lots of water pressure. We had a room facing the ocean and our view was amazing. The food at the breakfast buffet was delicious and had so many options. Loved all the fruit! The beach was right across the street and it was easy to grab chairs and towels to take with us. It was a little annoying how often people tried to sell us stuff, but we loved that someone brought us beers and offered other drinks right to our chairs. Beers were only $2 each (if you were paying in USD) pretty much everywhere on the beach and they were always ice cold. Amazing view from the roof top and loved that there was a bar up there. Make sure to peek around the back to see Christ the Redeemer. Location is perfect. Very close to the metro although Uber is incredibly cheap (in USD), quick and reliable. Ipanema is a little quieter than Copacabana and we are really glad we stayed there. Great running/bike path right out front and on Sundays they close half the street. In full disclosure, I did see a few tiny ants/bugs on the walls in the room but it's a hot/humid climate near the beach and a forest and I've lived in similar climates enough to know that it's tough to keep all of them out. It didn't bother us. The other thing is that the elevators are slow. We were on the 2nd floor and found the stairs and used those a lot. But overall we were so happy with our stay and I hope we have the chance to come back some day!

Hard to beat based on location and price. Breakfast is also pretty nice. However, decor is slightly outdated and the single lift which is pretty slow.

Selected this hotel because of its location. This is literally across the street from the famed Ipanema Beach and walking distance to shopping and food places.

The staff is friendly and the hotel seems to have been updated recently.

Depending on your booking, daily continental breakfast is included. The breakfast selection is quite nice and you can find meats, cheeses, cereals, bacon, eggs and fresh fruits and juices.

There are two elevators that are tiny, by Western standards, and alway busy, so there can be a bit of a wait.

There's a bar in the lobby that's great to have a drink and see the sunset.

The pool and bar area is great and you have expansive views of the entire beach. I wasn't able to get a sunset view ;- (

I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable hotel.
