Excellent Professor and lessons! Rodrigo made learning a new language enjoyable, challenging, and engaging all at once. It was the perfect combination of creativity and structure to utilize my brain to its full potential. I entered Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil with absolutely no Port besides "sim/nao/ tudo bem? " and within weeks I was able to have engaging conversations in a new language with Brazilians in Parks, restaurants, etc.

The communicative method of learning a new language is the most efficient and successful. It will be challenging and frustrating at first, but your brain will adapt.

Rodrigo is as great as a professor as he is a guy! Obrigado por tudo.

J’ai beaucoup appris avec Rodrigo comme professeur de portugais. Au début de la formation je connaissais seulement quelques mots de portugais. Maintenant je peux me débrouiller seule pour communiquer au quotidien avec les brésiliens.
Il m’a beaucoup appris sur la culture brésilienne, plus que je m’y attendais.
Rodrigo est sympathique, ouvert d’esprit, à l’écoute, mais est aussi rigoureux: il précise souvent la signification des mots portugais et/ou leur histoire, pour permettre de bien les utiliser à posteriori.

Rodrigo is a great teacher and I’d recommend to anyone wanting to learn Portuguese. I’m a Portuguese major and decided to take these classes as extra practice. It was my first time taking a class in this format and it has definitely been worth it. My listening skills have improved sooo much and I’m learning a lot about Brazil as well.

I’m a student from China as well as majored in Portuguese. And I attend some extra courses from Porf. Rodrigo. With a wide scope of knowledge and enough patience, Rodrigo is reaaaaally my favorite Portuguese teacher. He always instructs me and helps me to solve grammar problems in Portuguese. I’m so grateful to him:) so luck am I that I could meet such a nice and distinguished teacher:)

I had 2 hours a day for 10 days with Rodrigo and he was a fantastic teacher. I felt I've made real progress with him and enjoyed the lessons. He's provided me with a great platform to continue to build on.

Professor Rodrigo has been an *amazing* asset for me in my relocation to Brazil. His classes are intense, and I felt in the first two weeks that I wasn’t able to keep up.and then I started noticing that when people would speak nearby me or make small talk with me, I was understanding!

I struggle heavily with memory, but I continue to be impressed with how much I’m able to retain and practice with Rodrigo’s help. He’s fun and easy to get along with, and I really like how he will work with me to understand a word without just giving me the English definition. I’m learning more about the culture in Rio as well, with his help!

Rodrigo is an excellent teacher and very accommodating schedule and location wise. He has wide knowledge of the Portuguese language and the difference in gramatical / sentence structure with other languages, which he uses to teach in a way that resonates with the student. He came to my private lessons with very well prepared material that included songs, visual aids, and power point presentations. He has an uncanny ability to explain words using the little Portuguese I know, and keep me from resourcing to other languages. I highly recommend using him as an educator.
