Eu tinha uma aula marcada para as 7h, que finalmente começou às 7h20. A equipe foi legal mesmo que uma vez na água já que éramos 4, Gabriel me mandou para outro professor que já estava cuidando de outros 3 surfistas.
O outro professor que pertence à escola ARPEX SURF cuidou muito bem de mim.
No final as outras 3 pessoas inicialmente planejadas ao mesmo tempo que eu tinham 2 professores para elas enquanto eu fui encaminhado para outro professor que já cuidava de 3 pessoas, não entendi.

Melhor escolinha pra aprender a surfar. Fiz minha primeira aula e AMEI. Vou continuar a surfar com certeza! <3

Olá a todos, ótima experiência com essas primeiras aulas de surf, Gabriel e sua equipe são super simpáticos, conselhos muito bons, em poucas palavras, o clique e as alegrias do surf são de vocês. Eu os recomendo de olhos fechados.

Realização de um sonho sendo acompanhada de perto por profissionais fantásticos! A Mandala Rio tem ótimos instrutores, super pacientes e encorajadores, que ainda dão aulas bilíngues, caso haja algum aluno estrangeiro. A experiência tem sido muito positiva, por isso recomendo fortemente aprender surf com essa equipe!

We booked surfing the afternoon before via WhatsApp. Super easy to book.
Easy to locate on the beach.
Got given a rash vest and a 10 min intro to surfing. Gabriel was very friendly and even let me try some of his lunch!
Got taken out to the waves and got helped by being pushed on the waves and told when to stand up then continual tips for the hour afterwards. I believe our session lasted just over an hour. Multiple instructors out there all pushing people on to waves.
I was struggling to stand so another instructor paired up with ours and helped me how to stand on the board in the ocean.
Definitely a work out, lots of paddling but great fun, helpful instructors and an extremely reasonable price.
We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend these guys!

Excellent experiance! I attended a group session with one more student. I arranged the session one day in advance via whatsapp. Instructor Gabriel explained everything to us in English at the beach and then we tried it several times in the water. He guided us in the water and pointed out our mistakes. At the end of the session, I was quite confident on the board and actually surfed few waves! I highly recommend this school!

Procurei várias escolas de surf no RJ e a do Mandala foi a melhor que encontrei. Os professores são ótimos e a localização no Arpoador é incrível. Estou evoluindo bastante no surf. O professor mandala envia as condições do mar diariamente tbm, daí consigo me programar para fazer aula nos melhores dias. Recomendo muito!

Gabriel is an amazing teacher. With him you get a patient teacher with a lot of knowledge of the ocean and of surfing. If you don't speak Portuguese it is not problem either as he speaks perfect English. All of his gear is in really good shape as well. If you are in Rio and are looking to learn how to surf then Gabriel is the person you need to see.
