I am teaching at EduMais at the moment. It is a great feeling being a part of the team and giving these children the opportunity for learning English. At the same time I feel that I also receive a lot from the children, they give me the opportunity to get to know the Brazilian culture better, to enhance my teaching skills and to experience something different. I enjoy volunteering at EduMais because they work very hard on creating a better future for these kids and they also treat us volunteers with respect and are always there if we need help.

By far the best volunteer experience ever! I was one of Edumais' first volunteers back in 2016 and had the great pleasure of working with Diana, the founder, in the initial phases of the community programs. Volunteers will receive fundamental training in the Positive Discipline methods that truly support and bolster the entire philosophy of the program. I highly recommend anyone this opportunity to teach, play, and discover this amazing EduMais NGO!

EduMais is an incredible organization which provides education to favela children in Rio, spreads love and always acts in kids' interest. Volunteering with the amazing team and brilliant kids was a unique experience!

EduMais is a wonderful organization, was created for the community and has been doing a great job with the kids of 3 different favelas. Volunteering and have the opportunity to meet the volunteers, kids, people from the community and work next to Diana is an incredible experience!

Working at Edumais for the kids brings great delight.
The joy and pleasure it brings them radiate on the team. With a multicultural and devoted team of volunteers its a daily pleasure working for this cause with enthousiasm and passion.

I’ve been volunteering with Edumais teaching English and entrepreneurs skills for 3 years and can not recommend them highly enough. They have many programes to help kids in need and you do not have to pay to join them. Just give your time in person or online support.

Voluteering at Edumais has been a really good choice, since i have arrived in Rio de Janeiro. It is a nice working environment with nice people and the children are super enthusiastic. It is a blessing to be able to teach them!

Volunteering in Edumais was an incredible experience for me, and I recommend it to all my friends in Rio de Janeiro!

I really loved my experience working with Edumais.
The kids are beautiful and the staff are very friendly, welcoming and professional. The classes are very organised and Diana works with all volunteers to grow, as we learn from each other and the experience.
I met some really great volunteers and friends, but most of all, I really valued the time with the kids and the experience to teach ESL English to the enthusiastic and outgoing Brazilian students. I will be back:)
