Excelente localização nas alturas do Rio, no coração de uma área ainda pouco turística. Piscina muito agradável e vista soberba sobre a baía. Uma decoração vintage que leva você a um filme de James Bond. Café da manhã muito bom. Única crítica: ar condicionado muito barulhento e moderadamente eficiente.

Chez George is everything you could want in a hotel! The architecture of the house and the design of the interiors are stunning yet the space remains incredibly homey and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, fresh and indulgent yet healthy. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. The extra long pool, the panoramic view, the stylish rooms, the charming neighborhood, I could go on and on and will definitely be back!

Gorgeous hotel with great staff, incredible views, and breakfast included. It is next door to an event venue, and I wasn’t prepared for the level of noise that that encompasses.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at this house, which is a beautiful piece of architecture itself in a very chill neighborhood. Loved the whole atmosphere and the friendliness of all staff. Warm recommendation!

Casa bonita e muito bem decorada com móveis e peças do design brasileiro. Falta atenção na prestação dos serviços e manutenção, exemplos: ar condicionado do quarto extremamente barulhento, luzes do quarto com defeito, cofre trancado pelo hóspede anterior e inviabilizado para nosso uso, falta de reposição de papel higiênico na arrumação do quarto, wi-fi sem funcionar (o que atrapalhou muito nosso final de sexta feira para fazer reuniões de trabalho).

Não recomendo a casa! O custo foi muito alto para a péssima experiência que passei em lua de mel. A começar pelo acesso do hotel: uma rua de acesso bem restrito e pouco espaço pra estacionar no hotel. Há somente 2 vagas cobertas e 1 em frente ao portão. O quarto não é acústico e, em Santa Teresa, baile funk é realidade no fim de semana! Ou seja, muita música durante a noite e madrugada inteiras sem uma acústica suficiente! Só parou às 7h da manhã! Então se quer descanso, somente durante o dia! A piscina não é aquecida. Estava hiper gelada pra aproveitá-la durante o dia. Sem condições! As fotos da vista do quarto estão desatualizadas. No nosso quarto, uma suíte de quase mil reais, as plantas e árvores já tinham crescido, tapando assim a vista do pão de açúcar. Uma manutenção de paisagismo resolvia! Inaceitável! Coloquei 2 estrelas pq o café da manhã é muito gostoso! Além disso, a casa é diferenciada com arquitetura modernista, muito bonita.mas só! Ficaria outra noite para compensar o desconforto. O hotel até ofereceu essa possibilidade, prometeu nos ligar pra agendar a estadia, mas nunca o fez!

Simplesmente perfeito. Uma casa linda, com extremo bom gosto e uma decoração inacredutável. Assemelha-se a um museu, com cantos e recantos mágicos. O exterior é de uma beleza que as fotografias nao conseguem captar.
O café da manhã caseiro, com imensas opções e tudo de máxima qualidade.
O serviço simpatico e atencioso, todos os empregados amorosos e super disponiveis nos deixam à vontade e nos sentimos em casa.

The best! If you have the opportunity to visit Rio (do it! It’s wonderful) treat yourself and stay at Chez Georges. I am sure you will have seen the beautiful pictures of the house. Believe me, it is even better in real. Great views over Rio. Beautiful spacious rooms with super comfy bed and great showers. Very very good breakfast. Super nice and helpful service from Rita and Rebeca and I think Vivienne (?). Also great recommendations for the area. Stayed for 4 nights and did not want to leave this place. Room George Brassens offers stunning views and is very nice, but I am sure every room is great. Thanks for having us. We hope to return soon.

Chez Georges is a most perfect hotel; in terms of design, service, and location. The house itself is a unique and impressive modernist/brutalist structure, full of the most beautiful and tasteful furniture (as well as a swimming pool overlooking Rio). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, offering great tips about Rio. The breakfast is world class. And the neighborhood is really easy to navigate and offers a lot of places to eat/drink within walking distance. Can’t suggest it enough.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and we had a wonderful experience! Really beautiful place, very clean and confortable, with a wonderful view on the entire city. The staff is also amazing and always keen to help! Definitely worth it!
